Principal, American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH)

David Dierk is a Principal of the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH) and President of its parent company, Pinnacle Health Communications, a marketing communications firm he cofounded in 1998. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. David has built his entire career in consumer communications, serving the heatlh care field for the past 20 years. Notably, over the last 16 years, David has focused on disease-related support information, producing nationally recognized work through his roles in various leading heatlh care organizations supporting senior and managed-care patients. In working with some of the top thought leaders, doctors, and companies concerned with using services to improve patients’ lives, David witnessed the unnecessary senior-patient suffering and resource waste within today’s heatlh care network. His knowledge that betterment can be achieved by giving consumers credible information led him to cofound Pinnacle Health Communications. Today, as President of Pinnacle, David leads the award-winning midsized firm, which specializes in disease-management and educational programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and consumers. David is also a Principal in HealthCom Media, a specialty heatlh care publishing company that publishes several heatlh care journals, including the senior-focused Assisted Living Consult and Medicare Patient Management.

Mark DiLuigi

Principal, American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH)

Mark DiLuigi is a Principal of the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH) and a Partner in its parent company, Pinnacle Health Communications. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. Mark is a 25-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry, with a successful track record from a variety of marketplaces. After serving as Sales Representative with USV Laboratories (now Sanofi-aventis), Mark joined Medical Economics Company as Account Manager on Drug Topics, Red Book, Hospital Pharmacist Report, and Patient Care. He later joined K.I. Lipton to head its new MedMedia division, a heatlh care marketing communications firm. In that role, he helped grow the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists’ journal, The Consultant Pharmacist, and also spearheaded the marketing and sales efforts for the launch of the official journal of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. Today, as a Partner in Pinnacle Health Communications, a marketing communications firm he cofounded in 1998, Mark helps oversee the award-winning midsized firm, which specializes in disease-management and educational programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and consumers. In this role, he codevelops implementation strategies for disease-intervention resources, corporate programs, sales training tools, and market research. Mark is also a Principal in HealthCom Media, a specialty heatlh care publishing company that publishes several heatlh care journals, including the senior-focused Assisted Living Consult and Medicare Patient Management. Previously, under the auspices of HealthCom Media’s parent, Health Affinities, LLC, Mark worked in project development and sales for the official publications of the American Pharmacists Association as well as Formulary, Managed Heatlhcare Executive, and Care Management journals.

Gregory Osborne

Principal, American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH)

Gregory Osborne is a Principal of the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH) and a Partner in its parent company, Pinnacle Health Communications, a marketing communications firm he cofounded in 1998. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. Gregory’s entire 20-year career has been devoted to medical communications. Starting as an intern with Health Management Publications, he moved to become a Regional Sales Manager for Gordon Publications, a business unit of Elsevier. From there, he joined Medical Economics Company as Account Manager within the leading clinical group of journals. He later was promoted to its flagship magazine, Medical Economics, where he became National Sales Manager of specialty editions. Today, as a Partner in Pinnacle Health Communications, Gregory helps oversee the award-winning midsized agency, which specializes in disease-management and educational programs for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and consumers. Gregory is also President of HealthCom Media, a specialty heatlh care publishing company that aims to promote better patient outcomes by providing clinicians with unsurpassed content to enhance the way they practice. The company identifies underserved audiences and publishes heatlh care journals for them, including the senior-focused Assisted Living Consult and Medicare Patient Management, which are components of the heatlh care-professional side of ASASH.

Cynthia Caciolo

Editorial Director, Consumer Initiatives

Cynthia Caciolo was named Editorial Director, Consumer Initiatives, of the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH) in October 2007. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. Cynthia is responsible for the editorial direction, design, content, and management of all ASASH consumer initiatives, including NueLife™ Journal, the NueLife consumer Web site (NueLife.com), and NueLife On Location™, regional educational seminars for consumers. In her role, Cynthia serves as the first-ever editor-in-chief of NueLife Journal, which provides seniors with information, inspiration, guidance, and tools to help them enjoy better health and longer, happier lives. She is responsible for the journal’s look, readability, feel, and focus. In addition, Cynthia is responsible for managing the editorial content of NueLife.com, which offers the tools and guidance seniors need to take charge of their wellness, and to research and manage health conditions. Cynthia is also responsible for helping to develop NueLife On Location, a series of interactive educational seminars led by heatlh care professionals at senior centers, hospitals, and other community venues nationwide. Prior to her association with NueLife, Cynthia served at Rodale, where she was executive editor of Prevention magazine’s Special Interest Publications (SIPs) from 2001 to 2007. During that time, Cynthia introduced new subjects to the magazines and worked with celebrity author Dr. Arthur Agatston (The South Beach Diet) and fitness expert Denise Austin. She also created The Biggest Loser Weight Loss Planner in association with NBC’s hit television series “The Biggest Loser.”

Lorraine Davis

Vice President, Design and Production

Lorraine Davis was named Vice President, Design and Production, of the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ in October 2007. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. Lorraine is responsible for the development of the ASASH brand logo, Web site, and advertising creative. Additionally, Lorraine created the brand look and feel for the family of NueLife brands including NueLife™ Journal, the NueLife consumer Web site (NueLife.com), the NueLife professional Web site (NueLifePro.com), and NueLife On Location™, the regional educational seminars for consumers. Prior to her association with ASASH, Lorraine spent 10 years as art director and vice president of production for Pinnacle Health Communications where she developed the creative look for Medicare Patient Management magazine and Assisted Living Consult magazine. Lorraine has spent more than 20 years on the agency side of pharmaceutical and heatlh care advertising.

Michael Wysocki

Senior Manager, Information Technology

Michael Wysocki was named Senior Manager, Information Technology, for the American System for Advancing Senior Health™ (ASASH) in February 2008. ASASH launched in March 2008 to empower seniors to live healthier, more fulfilling lives by providing them with credible health information in a variety of formats. Michael brings more than 10 years of heatlh care experience, spanning both nonprofit and for-profit companies, and more than 5 years of technical account/project management experience. At ASASH, he is responsible for developing strategic Web initiatives that provide the company with the most advanced Web technology available and deep insight into online user behavior, along with leading the implementation of these solutions in alignment with overall strategic marketing and corporate initiatives and driving the overall functional and technical evolution of them postlaunch. Prior to joining ASASH, Michael served as Manager of Member Program Development for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, where he was responsible for researching, defining, developing, testing, and implementing new clinical innovations and health and wellness programs and services for consumers. Previously, he served in functions ranging from qualitative and quantitative market research for biotech and pharma to account and project management for interactive technologies and tactics for consumer and professional pharmaceutical marketing and learning efforts. Michael holds a Webmaster Skills Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
